1. Overview
This policy explains what information is collected and processed when you use the Gloss website (glossmusic.cyou) and the Gloss desktop app. Everything here starts from one fact: Gloss never sends your audio files to a server — it's an on-device app.
2. Audio files
Every audio file you upload, analyze, or finish in the app is processed 100% on your own computer. Gloss runs no server, so your audio and its processed output are never transmitted, stored, or collected. The optional reference-track upload is discarded locally right after analysis and is never sent anywhere either.
3. Payment and subscription data
Pro subscription payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Card details, billing email, and billing address are collected and stored by Lemon Squeezy directly — Gloss never stores or has access to that information. The license key that activates your subscription is stored only locally on your device. See Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for how they handle payment data.
4. Website cookies
This website uses exactly one cookie (lang) to remember
your language preference (Korean/English). No advertising or tracking
cookies are used.
5. Analytics and tracking
Neither the website nor the app uses analytics, advertising pixels, or crash-reporting tools that track visitors or users.
6. Third-party resources
The website loads a webfont (Pretendard) from a CDN (jsdelivr). As with any web request, your IP address is passed to that CDN in the normal course of loading the page.
7. Your rights
For access to or deletion of payment-related personal data, contact Lemon Squeezy directly — they hold that data. For anything else about this policy or how Gloss handles data, email us below.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service evolves. Any change updates the "last updated" date on this page.
